Thoughts
A science test is coming up, and I'm studying my butt off. We're studying here at school. We're watching science videos. I'm going to show Camden how to make a blog on wordpress.com after school. I inspired lots of people. But Mr. Keefer inspired me.
I'm working on my revised story. We're suppose to finish by this Friday.
I have a dog named Homie. He was abused by a bad owner. When we first got him and brought him home, his head looked like a bobble head.
I'm going to type my story on here, but I have to finish it first.

I figured I should write more on my page and take a break on my blog. Mostly because not all teachers will look on my page. I'm probably gonna type my story today, unless we're so busy or I don't have time.

It's been a long time since I typed on my fun stuff. I sort of miss it. We got extra recess today. Mr.K played soccer like he always does when we have extra recess. I didn't play that much because I didn't want to get a asthma attack.

The Basketball Game
The team is counting on me.
I dribble the basketball
Thump!,

Defenders are in my way
but they're too late.
As I approach the basketball hoop,
I lift the ball and......
I make it! The crowd goes wild.
My team rushes to me.
They lift me up and scream,
victory is sweet.
Sky Scraper
It's shadow as big as a giant.
The lights gleaming from the top.
Our mouths slack-jawed,
we stare and stare and stare.
When it's daytime, it looks like
it can touch the clouds.
Our necks hurt if we look at the top.
Do we dare take the tour?
No, not a chance.
The sky scraper rules over us,
forever and ever.
Friends
Friends are truthful
Friends are fun,
and they can keep secrets,
friends tell
opinions
and they may not like the things
you do.
Friends always call you,
you guys always hang out.
That is how you can tell
if your friend is a friend.
Like A Turtle
My mother once told me,
that I'm like a small turtle because
I always hide in my shell.
My brother once told me, that I'm as slow as a turtle.
He told me once that I type really slow,
I really don't know why,
but I guess it is how I am.

Mr. Keefer is my teacher,
he is the very best.
He loves to be on the computer,
and he loves to read so much.
He makes us a better learner,
He always makes us laugh.
That's why he's the best teacher ever.
Christmas
The air blowing in my face as I rush down the steps
The Bacon greeting my nose.
The light blinding me as I enter the living room,
But I don't care it's Christmas.
Our Classroom
Our classroom is cool,
the other classes drool,
they might as well come to our class.
We are the best because of our teacher.
We are better because we are good with numbers,
and better at keeping our cool.
The Big Old Apple Tree
There is a big old apple tree in the middle of the town,
it has been there for decades.
The apples look big and juicy they all are killing me.
Everyone tries to pull them but they just can't succeed.
What's the mystery behind that seed.
Roots are all around that tree, it is a really big tree.
It is taller than all the high houses.
That Big Fast Rat (I moved some words to the right)
One day my mother screamed, and fell down the stairs.
What's going we asked then we saw the rat.
It was moving in all directions,
that rat became a blur,
it jumped over everything that was in it's path.
We decided to chase it, all over the house,
but when we gave up, it rushed to the door,
and said "Thanks a bunch!"
Being Sick
I was sick for a weekend, then a few days.
I missed a lot of school,
I probably have lots of catching up to do.
My asthma is really bad,
I'm sneezing like the dwarf from snow white.
I was sick for a long time,
as if I'm cursed,
but now I'm feeling better,
I really am, but I guess I have lots of
work
to
do.
Science Project
Habitat:
My Spineless Cactus lives in the Desert. It needs to absorb a lot of water in order to survive which is
very hard in the dessert. In the Desert, it barely rains. There are a decent amount of cactus so the
Spineless cactus will sort of blend in.
Description Of Plant:
My Cactus does not have spines. It doesn't have them because in order for
animals to pollinate it. It is green, ( Like pretty much all Cactuses) it is between 4 and 8 inches tall.
It has no leave, but has arms, (There is probably a name for the arms.) It is a little stronger than a
Herbaceous stem.
Adaptations:
The Spineless Cactus needs long roots to absorb more water. It needs a strong stem but it has
a little defense. It stores water to save for later.
Life Cycle/Pollination:
When the seed gets dispersed, it takes a while for it to grow. It sprouts in about 5 to 7 weeks.
After it sprouts it becomes a very young cactus. After a couple of months it becomes a
adult. Which means it is about time to make seeds. The Spineless Cactus disperses seeds
when it is dying. After the plant dies, the wind will blow the seeds away.
Virginia
A family vacation, this is going to be great I thought.
"Honey! Go take a shower!" Said mom
"I did yesterday!" I replied.
"You know how picky you're dad is!" She said
"Man." I mumbled
Everyone knows that mom wins every fight. This was a example.
I took my shower and the water was cold. Mom did the dishes and my brother Alex took all the hot water.
I changed my clothes and brought my bag downstairs.
I ate my breakfast, which was some Corn pops. Alex had some Cocoa puffs. I finished my
breakfast, and got a cup of milk. I put my bag in the car. I noticed that everyone else bags were packed, so I guess we were ready. Everyone came out the garage door.
"Jason, we were looking for you." Dad said.
"C'mon. Get in the car." Mom said
We did as told and dad started the engines. "Next stop,Virginia!" My dad said.
The drive was long, too long. Me and Alex Started fighting over the ipod, mom started yelling us, and dad just ignored us.
After one hour of fighting, it finally stopped. Alex fell asleep, and mom had a sore throat from all the yelling.
A couple of hours later, we finally got to Virgina. We went to a hotel,and got a room. "Whoa!" We said as we entered the room.
The room had 2 beds, a large T.V., and a big couch and a table. There also was a refrigerator that was full of snacks.
It was still early, so we decided to go to the beach for a while. I was very excited, the drive was one hour long, that didn't stop me. When we got there, the sand was burning hot, I decided to run as fast as I could to the water. The water made so much

Childhood
My report is on Thomas Alva Edison. Thomas Edison was born in 1847, in Milan OH. Thomas Edison went to school late. he did not do good because he was too curious. He probably would've been diagnosed to ADHD if it existed in his time. When Thomas was 7 years old, his teacher decided that he could no longer teach him his lessons. So Nancy Edison decided to teach him at home instead.
Thomas then built a laboratory in his cellar. He made lots of mistakes and explosions but he found a answer for some of his questions.
In 1859, when Thomas was 12, he sold candy in the Grand Trunk Railroad. He also sold newspapers, sandwiches, and fruit. He set up a laboratory in the baggage car during the long stopover in Detroit. But Thomas wasn't careful and started a fire. His laboratory was destroyed so he had to move on to other things.
Three years later, with the money Thomas earned, he started his own newspaper called the Weekly Herald. He sold it to people at the Mount Clemens station. One day, he saw a small boy about to be run over by a boxcar. Thomas pushed him away and was rewarded by the boy's father by teaching Thomas Telegraphy. One year later, thomas became a Telegraph operator for 5 years.
Inventing Career
In 1871, December 5th, Thomas married Mary Stilwell. One of Thomas Edison's greatest inventions was the Electric light bulb.It was invented 1879 It was one of the greatest inventions in the world and without it, electricity probably would've never known about because of Thomas's invention. With the money he got all thanks to his inventions, Thomas bought a laboratory so he could experiment.
In 1871, December 5th, Thomas married Mary Stilwell.
Thomas Edison of course wasn't the only inventor. In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. Thomas and some of his staff made it better. One year later, he invented the phonograph which recorded sounds and played them again. In 1890, Thomas made a new invention: The Vitascope. It projected motion pictures, this invention is what some people call, "His second greatest invention." After the Vitascope came more advanced technology.
Thomas Edison died in 1931, with 1,093 patents, more than any inventor could've done.
